The Glitzy Baghags are a talented 9 piece acoustic all singing band specialising in spreading glitzy joy and laughter through their unique entertaining gypsy-jazz-pop-cabaret-skiffle-swing performances..
Formed late in 2004, 2005 saw the Glitzys whip up a storm of excitement across the south-west & beyond with their diverse line up of Sax, Oboe, Clarinet, Accordion, Flute, Violin, Ukelele, Guitar, Snare & Hi-Hat, Double Bass, Cheesegrater and Saucepan. All Baghags are virtuoso kazoo players - audience participation & joy is inevitable!

We have played at: Glastonbury, Shambala, Eden Project, Larmer Tree Festival, Secret Garden Party, Big Green Gathering, Walcot Nation Day, Opening night of Bath Fringe festival at The Pussyfoot Kitten Club, Ashton Court Festival, St Werburghs Community Festival, St Pauls Carnival, The BBC Harbourside Festival Bristol, The Famous Old Duke Bristol, 'Street Serenade Festival' in Bristol, 'Bestival' @ The Isle of Wight, a spectacular face off with Fromage en Feu @ The Greenbank, the 'Art Goes Pop! Lantern procession at St Paul's, 'Ripsnorter' as seen on Channel 4 and a host of street parties lost in Easton & beyond...

You can book us! - Festivals, gigs, walkabouts, serenading, weddings, bar mitzvah's, corporate & one off events, dance halls or anything else you can think up... Due to our acoustic nature we are ready to play anywhere, anyhow, anytime - however we do have a superb 12v system or full P.A. available if you wish..
